Down by the river side. Al lado del río
Wednesday night at Jundiaí Baptist Memorial is prayer meeting night as it is in a number of the other churches. So we had a time in common with the large attendance and then the workshop participants went to a park by the river for a first demonstration open air.
Music was supplied by a young lady (not quite Maritza but with a fine clear voice and singing songswhich caused everyone else to join in). There was a testimony of salvation and an illustrated talk (the Door, with a real door) and a sketchboard talk (What Money can´t buy). After return to the building and bidding farewell to the pray meeting attenders, we concentrated on one to one testimony and the importance of using the Law as a vehicle for the conviction of the Holy Spirit. A young man came after the meeting and humbly said that he wanted prayer that God would use him mightily to reach people in the open air. May there be more.
Miercoles por la noche en la Iglesia Bautista Memorial de Jundiaí es la noche de la reunión de oración y también en otras iglesias que envian participantes a los talleres. Tuvimos un tiempo en común con una asistencia grande y luego los participantes de los talleres se fueron a un parque al lado del río para un ensayo primero al aire libre. Música fue ministrada por una jóven (no exactamente Maritza pero con una voz clara y alta y cantando una canción que provocó la participación de otros). Hubo un testimonio de salvación y un mensaje ilustrado (La Puerta con una puerta de verdad) y también una charla con tablero ( Lo que el dinero no compra). Después de volver al edificio y despedir a los asistentes de la reunión de oración nos fijamos en el testimonio uno a uno y la importancia de utilizar la Ley como un vehículo para la convicción del Espíritu Santo. Un joven vino después de la reunión y humildemente pidió oración para que Dios le utilizara de una forma poderosa para alcanzar a las personas al aire libre. Qué haya más!
