Nunca nos han ensenyado sobre estas cosas así. Never has anyone taught us about these things in such a way!

This was the commentary from the leading pastor of Jundiaí Memorial Chruch at the end of the first evangelism workshop. 105 people came of the 120 signed up (some being couples with young children). Other congregations were represented having seen the publicity on the Internet and the street. There is a longing to be more effective in evangelism, surely put there by the Lord of the Harvest. The dynamic of the congregation is that despite the spiritual battle around the youth work last weekend, they are bouncing back with expectation about going out on the street and this coming weekend´s Carnival activity. I am trying to get in sleep and preparation in between whiles because Saturday through to Tuesday morning looks like fairly non stop action for all those involved in the campaign. The local press have shown some interest in my presence in Brazil but we think more will come from what we plan over the weekend which will be off church premises.

Fue el comentario del pastor principal de la Iglesia Bautista Memorial de Jundiaí al final del primer taller de evangelización. 105 personas asistieron de las 120 inscritas (algunas parejas tornando para cuidar a los niños jóvenes). Otras congregaciones representadas vinieron por haber visto la publicidad en el Internet y en la calle. Hubo un deseo de ser más eficaces en la evangelización, sin duda provocado por el Senyor de la Mies. La dinámica de la congregación es que a pesar de la batalla espiritual que rodeó el acontecimiento juvenil del fin de semana pasada, hay un rebote de expectativa en cuanto a salir en la calle y participar en este fin de semana de evangelización en medio del Carnaval. Estoy intentando recuperar descanso y preparación entre salidas porque parece que desde sábado hasta el martes por la manyana la acción no para mucho para todos los que están en el equipo de la evangelización. La prensa local ha mostrado algún interés en mi visita en Brasil pero pensamos que los eventos fuera de la iglesia del fin de semana tendrán más alcance mediático.
