Pray4Spain on the move

We were away for the first 3 weeks of April, to attend Mission-Net, the youth missions congress in Oldenburg, Germany. You could find us on the Open Air Campaigners stand, giving the Open Air Evangelism seminar... or interpreting one or other of the main sessions. We were delighted to meet up with many friends! altogether there were some 2800 full-time, among whom perhaps 800 missionaries and staff, plus 1,500 day visitors. We were happy that almost 100 Spaniards made it, despite the alternative Mission Possible in Huesca over the same dates. A good time was had by all and we were challenged once again by the needs of the world and the call to missions.

We hope to catch up with the site during the week starting 27th April, bank holiday Friday not withstanding.

On our way home we stopped in Cavaillon, France to meet with Mark Howe, the man behind our Content Management System, who was still, just, unable to present us with a demo model of X-Cathedra, the all-new CMS, which will go live some time over the next few months, once we have sufficient new/ adapted material. Meanwhile, the Carrelet based CMS will continue to be updated and eventually the idea is to keep it as an archive of the old material.

XCathedra will enable us to pontificate in ways which for us are new, but which have mostly been around for some years, like Blogs, RSS, and lots more. In addition, although we probably won't be going in that direction, it would allow us to have a 3-D chat room.

Should you be interested in joining the Pray4Spain team, with a blog, sending news items or other things, do not hesitate to let us know.
